When you participate in a sport, it helps bring out the innate characteristics of a person. You learn a lot about attitude and teamwork. Individual will experience winning, losing, working as a team, handling themselves when others push them to their limits and many more skills. At St. Kabeer Academy, we believe in holistic developments of our students. We continuously aim to provide the best sports facilities along with the right guidance. We already have two playfields which are used for football and hockey. Recently, we have added synthetic badminton, cricket pitch and basketball courts. It is very important to offer a rich selection of co-curricular activities to students of all ages. It is only through this exposure that a child becomes aware of its special interests and talents. This in turn allows a child to receive appreciation and acclaim and to grow in confidence. This confidence then gets reflected in other areas leading to all around growth and progress. We continuously bring new activities as per the interests and talents of our students. Co-curricular activities include debate, elocution, carpentry, calligraphy, tie and dye, face painting, music and dance. Clubs and societies have been formed to make it easier for students to show their talents.
As part of social responsibility campaign, we organize regular awareness drives to promote greater understanding of the environment. To increase the efficiency of our campaigns and special team has been formed which are continuously monitored by the HODs. Our team has organised multiple cleanliness and plantation drives. St. Kabeer Academy takes pride in helping schools by providing them with furniture, books, stationery and etc.
The school firmly believes in providing educational experiences that go further than the walls of the academy. Whether it’s a trekking expedition, a picnic at the Zoo or a university visit, all activities have been carefully chosen to enhance the learning experience of the academy students. Visits and adventurous activities are an essential part of a child’s development, helping them to learn about assessing and managing risk, and to gain skills in leadership and team working. They also build self-esteem and allow children to encounter a range of normal social experiences.
Recent visits have included ONGC, Wadia Institute of Himalyan Geology, FRI, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, UREDA Energy Park and many other places.
In 2022, School opened Nano Lab for Primary students giving them the opportunity to think creatively, develop techniques, and explore their interests. Lego blocks, DIY robotics kit, Programmable robotics kit Drone & 3D pen have been introduced to give hands on experience to the students. It helps young students to formulate ideas, enables self-learning and fosters curiosity. It also promotes critical analysis skills by putting forth various points of view from which one can draw conclusions. This improves their analytical skills and prepares them for future challenges outside the classroom too.
